- Dallas-based Beacon Oral Specialists added a new practice location to its network. Atlanta Oral & Facial Surgery, a partner practice of the organization, opened a new office in Decatur, Ga. This is Beacon’s 25th location in the Atlanta area.
- Viper Partners, an investment bank and advisory firm serving medical and dental organizations, shared why oral surgery has become an attractive market for investment firms and oral health groups.
- Southlake, Texas-based Allied OMS added three practices in Colorado and Oregon: Advanced Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Englewood, Colo.; WestsideOMS in Hillsboro, Oreg.; and Oregon Oral Surgeons, which has three locations in the state.
- Irving, Texas-based U.S. Oral Surgery Management launched a reimbursement program to support its oral surgeon partners who participate in medical mission trips. The management services organization also added four practices in three states: North Sound Oral & Facial Surgery in Anacortes, Wash.; Central Coast Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles, Calif.; Clark & Patel Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in Oxnard, Calif.; and Gulf Coast Oral and Facial Surgery, which has four locations in Mississippi.
