66% of patients would consider switching to a dentist with more advanced technology

Two out of 3 patients would consider switching to a different dentist who uses more advanced technology, according to a Global Digital Dentistry survey commissioned by Carestream Dental in November 2019.

Other survey findings:

1. Less than half of patients think their dentist uses very advanced technology.

2. About 2 in 5 patients who haven’t been to the dentist in two or more years say they would be motivated to go if provided with education about how technology improves care.

3. Ninety-five percent of patients treated with advanced technology say they received better care.

Carestream Dental, digital dental solutions provider, launched Feb. 20 its Digital Dentistry Difference public education campaign to directly share information about digital dentistry with patients.
