  1. Supporting an increased dental workforce through the Action on Dental Health Act.
  2. Promoting relationships between dentists and dental insurance providers through the Dental and Optometric Care Access Act.
  3. Including the Academy of General Dentistry as an approved provider of opioid training under the Medication Access and Training Expansion Act.
  4. Encouraging oral health literacy through the Oral Health Literacy Act.

During his testimony before the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions, Dr. Isbell campaigned for the strengthening of the private practice of dentistry, as well as the need to reduce inequities in access to dental care.
