ADA hands out leadership, research awards

The American Dental Association Foundation recently honored three members of the dental industry for their leadership and research work.

Brittaney Hill, DDS, and Sylvette Ramos-Dias, a dental student, were awarded the Dr. David Whiston Leadership Award, according to a Sept. 27 news release from the ADA. They also both received $5,000 to help fund participation in the ADA Institute Diversity in Leadership program. 

Nicholas Fischer, PhD, received the Crest and Oral-B Promising Researcher Award, which also comes with $5,000 in funding to help his research in preventive dentistry.
