Several windows at the St. Louis dental center were shattered by bullets Feb. 12. Several other service calls have been made in the last year for incidents in the area, including auto thefts, shootings and destruction of property.

A student at the dental school told the news station that requests for new security measures have not been met.

“Student, patient and employee safety is always a top priority. The university is currently evaluating additional security options at the Saint Louis Dental Center,” Affinia Healthcare and ATSU said in a joint statement.
