Sixty-five-year-old Wayne Augustus Patterson III, DMD, was reportedly riding his bike the morning of June 29 when he was hit by a vehicle driven by 26-year-old Zachary Steven Davis.
Police are still investigating what caused the accident.
Dr. Patterson was employed at the Valley Dental Implant Center in Scottsboro.
