Daniel Croley, DMD, is being honored with the American Heart Association’s Award of Meritorious Achievement.
The award recognizes efforts that support the AHA’s initiatives, according to a news release from the organization.
Dr. Croley, the vice president and chief dental officer at Delta Dental of California, is being honored with the award for his work as part of the two organizations’ Healthy Smiles, Healthy Hearts initiative. This collaboration aims to educate patients, dental providers and primary care teams on the link between oral health and overall wellbeing and address the connection.
Dr. Croley will be presented with the award during the AHA’s National Volunteer Awards ceremony June 17.
