Little Rock, Ark.-based Lyon College School of Dental Medicine has welcomed its first class of students.
The new dental school, which earned its accreditation in February, aims to expand access to dental care in Arkansas while providing dental students with hands-on experience.
The inaugural class includes 80 students, 43% of whom are from Arkansas, according to a June 25 news release.
