BCBS of North Carolina’s announcement extends the telehealth coverage policy it put into place at the beginning of the pandemic to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
The insurance provider plans to collect data on the surge in telehealth visits to improve its telehealth coverage policy and expects to have a long-term update later in the year.
