Boston University dental school launches oral, maxillofacial radiology department

The Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine recently created an oral and maxillofacial radiology department.

The new department will support the education, clinical training and research of pre- and postdoctoral students, according to a March 11 news release.

Dr. Deeba Kashtwari will serve as the department’s inaugural chair as well as the dental school’s chief radiation safety officer.
