Local firefighters arrived to the private practice of Prasan Parmar, DDS, at around 6 a.m., after being alerted of smoke coming from a strip mall. The practice was on fire, but the sprinkler system contained the flames, according to the local fire department. Extensive water and fire damage was discovered in the practice.
The property had been broken into, the fire department said. The incident was classified as arson, with the specific cause of the fire still under investigation.
