Husam Aldairi, DDS, Rawaa Attar, Lilyan Krikorian, Inci Narin, Laith Alani, and Fadi Shammas, were charged with conspiracy to commit a crime and Medi-Cal fraud, according to an Oct. 17 news release from the California Department of Justice.

Dr. Aldairi’s clinics contracted with an FQHC to provide dental services to Medi-Cal patients. Dr. Aldairi was allegedly entitled to reimbursement for each patient visit, rather than the specific services performed, the news release said. Dr. Aldairi allegedly fraudulently billed the program for services that were either not rendered, or not rendered over multiple days, as was claimed.
