The CareQuest Institute for Oral Health has partnered with NxtCare to bring oral health insights to home-based care settings.
NxtCare works with various healthcare organizations to manage post-acute care using data analytics and operational dashboards. Their partners include health systems, payers, home health agencies, accountable care organizations and skilled nursing facilities.
The two organizations will work together to connect oral health statuses to broader health outcomes for home health patients, according to an April 28 news release. The ultimate goal is to improve care quality, increase access to care and reduce costs that stem from unaddressed oral health conditions.
CareQuest and NxtCare will launch their initiative in Nebraska with the goal of expanding nationwide in the future.
