The goal of the program is to address oral health workforce disparities among underrepresented minorities, specifically American Indian and Alaska Native communities, according to an Aug. 19 news release from the college.

The program is the result of a partnership with the Swinomish Indian Tribal Community.

The dental therapy education program has been accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation and was granted the accreditation status of approval with reporting requirements, according to the release.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place September 14-15 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence. Apply for complimentary registration now.
