Colorado oral surgeon earns humanitarian award from American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons

Julia Plevnia, DDS, recently received the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons’ humanitarian award.

Dr. Plevnia is an owner and partner of Dry Creek Oral Surgery in Parker and Englewood, Colo. The practice is an affiliate of Irving, Texas-based U.S. Oral Surgery Management. 

The ACOMS award was established in 1990 and recognizes oral surgeons for philanthropic and humanitarian contributions. Dr. Plevnia is one of 14 people to receive the award, according to an Aug. 8 news release from USOSM. The last award was given in 2016.
