Gov. Ned Lamont’s phase one of reopening allows dental offices to resume routine procedures as long as patients have their temperature and pulse oxygen checked before receiving care. Some dental hygienists are expressing worry that they could still contract COVID-19 at work.

Hygienists organizing the protests said they wore scrubs and masks with “X’s” on them and stood 6 feet apart from one another.
