Joseph Howard, DDS, MD, owner of Central Connecticut Oral Maxillofacial & Implant Surgery, and two of his assistants, Amanda Sampson and Meghan Grondin, took action after learning that an employee at the accounting firm across the hall from their practice collapsed and had no pulse.
The group started CPR and then used an AED machine to restore the man’s heartbeat. Paramedics arrived shortly after and transported the patient to a hospital. He was discharged a week later and is expected to make a full recovery.
