Delta Dental donates $50K to Pennsylvania community college: 3 insights

The Delta Dental Community Care Foundation gifted the HACC Foundation $50,000.

Here are three insights:

1. The donation will allow Harrisburg-based Central Pennsylvania’s Community College to upgrade its dental equipment.

2. HACC has one of 22 accredited dental hygiene programs in Pennsylvania as well as one of six accredited dental assisting programs offered in the state.

3. Delta Dental has made 54 donations in Pennsylvania this year. Since its inception in 2011, the foundation has awarded more than $5.8 million in grants throughout the state.
