One award will be given for research that focuses on creating new recommendations to improve oral health equity in populations that lack access to dental care. The second will be awarded for research that concentrates on improving oral health literacy in underserved populations.

Each winner will receive $25,000 in unrestricted grants to further their research. The awards will be given out at the 52nd meeting of the American Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research and the 47th meeting of the Canadian Association for Dental Research in March 2023, according to a July 20 news release.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place November 12–14 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence. Apply for complimentary registration now.
