He takes over as owner from Terry Rakowsky, DMD, who has practiced dentistry for more than 35 years, according to an Oct. 30 news release from the practice.

Dr. Rakowsky’s staff will remain at the practice to ensure a smooth ownership transition.

Dr. Brown is a member of the American Dental Association, the South Carolina Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, according to the practice’s website.

Dr. Rakowsky is moving to Colorado in order to be closer to his family, the release said.
