Dr. Zack Studstill receives ADA’s Distinguished Service Award

Zack Studstill, DMD, has been named the recipient of the American Dental Association’s 2022 Distinguished Service Award.

The award is the highest honor given by the ADA’s Board of Trustees, according to a June 21 news release.

The Alabama dentist is the executive director and past president of the Alabama Dental Association. He is also a trustee and second vice president of the ADA. Under his leadership, the Alabama Dental Association developed a four-year, forgivable loan program for dental school students and other scholarship programs. He also helped develop an annual ethics seminar at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in Birmingham for third- and fourth-year students that has been in place for the last 20 years.
