In August 2015, Capital City Dental Care was purchased by a new owner. After the new owner came in, the dental practice fired eight out of nine dental hygienists older than 40 at its Camp Hill, Pa., location between September 2015 and November 2015, the lawsuit claims.
The dental hygienists claim the dental practice did not give them any prior notice or reason for termination. Capital City Dental Care allegedly went on to replace the fired dental hygienists with employees younger than 40.
