Florida dental foundation offers free care to 1,000 residents

The Florida Dental Association Foundation will host the seventh annual “Florida Mission of Mercy” event in Tallahassee, Fla., giving 1,000 residents free dental care, according to a Feb. 28 report from ABC news affiliate WTXL Tallahassee.

The March 11-12 event will include cleanings, fillings, extractions, pediatric dentistry, root canals, dentures and partials, the foundation said.

The event will take place at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and is first-come, first-served.
