Operation Combat Smilez is a mobile dental clinic with the goal of providing veterans preventive care. Eurika Peebles, who served in the Air Force, launched the nonprofit because she said veterans often don’t seek proper dental care until they experience pain.
Ms. Peebles is the founder of dental consulting company Polished Practice Consulting and is also an instructor at Altierus Career College in Tampa. She currently uses her new mobile clinic to train students.
Ms. Peebles said she currently has three dentists who donate their services for the clinic but is seeking more.
