A former employee at Hastings and Havlik Family Dentistry in Mattoon, Ill., has pleaded guilty to stealing more than $500,000 from the practice, WAND-TV reported July 9.
Rebecca Gutierrez was charged last year with two Class X felonies for the theft, which allegedly occurred between June 2020 and September 2025.
Ms. Gutierrez is scheduled to be sentenced Nov. 16.
