A judge found Mr. D’Alise guilty on seven misdemeanor counts of unlicensed practice.
In July 2018, Mr. D’Alise had his license revoked after the state Department of Financial and Professional Regulation received hundreds of complaints about his dental care and business practices, according to a news release from the DuPage County state attorney’s office. The former dentist provided care from August 2018 through April 2019 at a Center for Dental Implants location in Oak Brook, Ill., according to the attorney’s office.
Mr. D’Alise said he was involved only in administrative work after losing his license, reports The Daily Herald.
The former dentist was immediately taken into custody and must serve at least half his sentence. There will be a hearing July 29 regarding restitution to the victims.
