A former Oklahoma dental assistant has been sentenced to 55 years in prison for sexually assaulting patients while they were sedated, ABC affiliate KOCO reported May 4.
Cody Stolfa, of Stillwater, pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting and videotaping more than a dozen patients, including some children, while they were unconscious during dental procedures in 2021. Police began investigating after becoming aware of a video on the dark web in 2024. The investigation led police to discovering more videos in Mr. Stolfa’s email as well as graphic files that included child sexual abuse material.
In addition to his prison sentence, Mr. Stolfa will serve 10 years of probation.
