Fire officials were called to the office of R. Thomas Pierce, DMD, in Perry, Ga., at 8:40 p.m. Aug. 14. The fire was so intense that the local fire department had to get assistance from Houston County fire officials, the news station reported.

Investigators are working to determine what caused the fire, which damaged the original building along with an addition completed late last year.
