Gerardo Lossada, 45, of Snellville, Ga., was arrested and booked into Gwinnett County Jail Nov. 23 on $1,300 bond and released later that day, according to records from the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators began looking into claims that Mr. Lossada had caused pain and disfigurement to patients, according to the report. They later found evidence of dentistry and orthodontics procedures at his home after obtaining a search warrant, the article stated.
The investigation is ongoing with help from the Georgia Board of Dentistry, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Dec. 3.
