Georgia woman charged with practicing unlicensed dentistry, forging license

A woman in Atlanta was arrested on suspicion of practicing dentistry without a license and forgery of a dental license, according to a June 2 report from Longview News-Journal

Emily Brannon, 34, allegedly presented a fake license to Byrd Dental Group in Douglasville, Ga., which was altered to appear issued by the Georgia Board of Dentistry, according to authorities. 

Police first secured arrest warrants for Ms. Brannon in February 2022, who had fled the area. 

Ms. Brannon was arrested May 22 in Sevier County, Tenn., and was also charged with being a fugitive from justice, the report said.
