Glidewell exec receives award from American Academy of Implant Dentistry

The American Academy of Implant Dentistry recently gave the Isiah Lew Memorial Research Award to Jim Glidewell, founder and president of Glidewell.

Mr. Glidewell has led the dental laboratory company since 1970. 

He was presented the award in recognition of the company’s role in the expansion of quality implant dental care in the U.S., according to an Oct. 17 news release. The company is credited with introducing the BruxZir Zirconia restorative material to the industry and advancing implant solutions such as digital treatment planning and surgical guides.
