Idaho oral surgeon dies

Mark Baker, DDS, a longtime oral surgeon with Oral Surgery Specialists of Idaho in Pocatello, died Sept. 14, Local News 8 reported.

Idaho State Police said Dr. Baker was driving on a highway shortly before 9:30 p.m. local time when his vehicle collided with an elk. Emergency crews pronounced him dead at the scene. He was 66.

Oral Surgery Specialists of Idaho said Shawn Jepsen, DMD, will continue caring for Dr. Baker’s current patients.
