Dr. Weber, who practices in Glenwood, Iowa, was determined to be an “imminent threat to public safety,” according to a Dec. 22 notice filed by the board.
The matter can be resolved through settlement or hearing, which was scheduled for Jan. 19 but has since been postponed.
Dr. Weber will not be allowed to practice dentistry while the case is pending, the notice said.
At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place November 12–14 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
