Iowa oral surgeon retires

Eric Pearson, DDS, of Fort Dodge, Iowa, announced his retirement in a Dec. 14 letter to the editor published in The Messenger.

Dr. Pearson studied at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in Iowa City, where he received awards from the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Iowa Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He completed his residency training at Gundersen Clinic Lutheran Hospital in Lacrosse, Wis., before joining Fort Dodge Oral Surgery in 1993.

In addition to practicing at Fort Dodge Oral Surgery, Dr. Pearson had staff privileges at Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He is a past president of the Iowa Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
