Emporia (Kan.) Family Dental Care is permanently closing March 20, according to a recent notice posted on its website.

The practice will no longer schedule appointments or provide clinical care.

Per Kansas law, dental records must be retained for 10 years from the date of a patient’s last appointment with the practice.

There was no reason specified for the practice closure.

Emporia Family Dental Care did not immediately respond to Becker’s request for more information.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place September 14-15 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
