A new dental practice has opened in an area deemed a “dental desert” in Lexington, Ky., WKYT reported May 16.
Unbridled Dental Care is led by Chassity Betzing, DMD, Rachel Wilson, DMD, and Mark Carter, DMD. The practice offers a variety of services, including emergency treatment, cosmetic dentistry, oral cancer screenings and sedation dentistry.
In addition to the new practice, Dr. Wilson told WKYT that she hopes the opening of the University of Pikeville in 2026 will help keep more dental students practicing in the state to alleviate shortages.
