Laurel Health acquired the office space of Bradford County Dental in Towanda, Pa., as Dr. Redding is preparing to retire. The system is set to launch Laurel Dental Towanda at Progress Plaza in July.

Upon opening, the practice will offer care three days a week, with plans to expand to provide care more days per week in the future.

The practice will be staffed by certified public health dental hygienists, who are certified to independently complete cleanings and basic dental services including X-rays and sealants. If a complex procedure is required, the practice will help streamline the referral process.

The new location will be Laurel Health’s fifth dental practice. The company also has locations in Blossburg, Lawrenceville, Towanda and Troy, Pa., according to its website.
