At the clinic, patients can receive urgent dental care from dental students under the supervision of licensed dentists, according to a Dec. 5 news release from the university.
The 2,900-square-foot clinic includes a private operating room, a private sensory adapted room and two dental chairs in the special care wing as well as a lab, radiology room and four dental chairs in the emergency section.
The new clinic is part of the dental school’s multi-year revitalization campaign to renovate educational spaces and upgrade equipment, the release said.
At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place September 14-15 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
