BRH will continue Mission Health’s Toothbus program, which aims to provide dental education and care services to patients with lack of access to dental care. As part of the transition, Mission Health donated two dental buses to support the continuation of the program, as well as other dental equipment and a three-year cash donation.
“We are excited to welcome the Mission Children’s Dental clinic and Toothbus program into the BRH family,” Richard Hudspeth, MD, CEO of Blue Ridge Health, said. “In addition to expanding access to high-quality, affordable dental care to patients in and around the Asheville area, the additional mobile dental treatment options will allow us to further our reach by offering services to individuals who may otherwise not have access to routine dental checkups and necessary restorative treatments.”
