Mississippi dentist surrenders Washington license

A Mississippi dentist and the Washington Dental Quality Assurance Commission agreed to the surrender of his dental license.

David Dowling, DDS, agreed to never practice dentistry in Washington again, according to a June 14 news release from the Washington State Department of Health. 

In September 2022, Dr. Dowling was charged with unprofessional conduct. The commission suspended his license in September 2023. 

In October 2022, Dr. Dowling surrendered his license to practice dentistry in California following accusations of negligence, patient abandonment and violations of the telehealth statute, the release said.
