Dr. Jenkins led Wright Dentures and Implants, a dental practice in Independence, Mo., that unexpectedly closed in May.
One former patient received a letter from Dr. Jenkins which stated that he could no longer be the patient’s dentist without any explanation.
Since the practice closed, about a dozen former patients have filed lawsuits, the report said.
The board’s case is still pending litigation and will place an order on its website once the case is final, according to the report.
According to records from the dental board, Dr. Jenkins’ license was placed on probation in 2022 for three years after complaints were made concerning his care.
At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place September 14-15 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence.
