The dual degree offering will be between the UNO College of Business Master of Business Administration program and the UNMC College of Dentistry Doctor of Dental Surgery program, according to a Feb. 9 news release from UNO.
The new degree program aims to prepare future dentists to manage dental practices if they enter the private practice sector.
Students in the DDS program can count nine credit hours of dental coursework toward their MBA.
The dual degree will start in the summer 2025 semester.
