The dental school dedicated the facility to Georges Sara, a former dental technician and owner of Stoneglass Industries, a prosthetic design company in Australia. Mr. Sara donated $1.3 million in equipment and software to the dental school through his company before dying from COVID-19 complications in November 2020, according to a May 10 news release.

The center is equipped with technology aimed at advancing digital dentistry to make dental restorations easier and quicker for patients.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Future of Dentistry Roundtable, taking place September 14-15 in Chicago, dental leaders and executives will gain insights into emerging technologies, practice growth strategies and the evolving landscape of dental care delivery, with a focus on innovation, patient experience and operational excellence. Apply for complimentary registration now.
