William Gardner, DDS, was charged with submitting fraudulent claims while his dental license was suspended in September. He turned himself into local police in early October and was released from jail shortly after.
Attorneys for Dr. Gardner filed a motion in December to have the charges dropped, arguing Dr. Gardner never received proper notice of the investigation. However, the judge ruled that prosecutors had sent Dr. Gardner a notice of the investigation with more than enough time for him to respond.
Dr. Gardner also must pay over $4,000 to cover the licensing board’s proceedings against him.
