A man from Norwalk, Conn., was arrested on suspicion of embezzling $286,000 from a dental practice in New York.
Jeffrey Fernandez, 34, worked as a manager at a dental practice in Great Neck. Between January 2020 and July 2024, he embezzled about $286,000 from the practice, according to the Nassau County Police Department.
According to police, he changed the business routing account number from the practice to his own personal bank account.
Mr. Fernandez has been charged with second-degree grand larceny and criminal possession of a forged instrument.
