North Carolina dental clinic reopens after flood damage from hurricane

High Country Community Health recently reopened its dental clinic in Avery, N.C, after more than a year since it was damaged during a hurricane, The Avery Journal Times reported March 31.

The building was closed for renovations after sustaining flood damage during Hurricane Helene in September 2024. 

The new clinic now features nine operating rooms, up from its previous six.

The organization reopened the clinic in early March, with a ribbon cutting ceremony held March 26.
