A dental practice in Raleigh, N.C., suddenly closed and is unable to continue providing orthodontic treatment, according to a Nov. 6 report from WRAL News

The Smiling Face Company told patients that they are closed and cannot continue any orthodontic adjustments or related procedures.

A few patients who tried to reach the practice to obtain more information about the closure, their patient records and refunds did not receive any clear answers.

The owner of the practice, Ebony McBean Grady, is likely not licensed to practice dentistry in North Carolina, as there are no results for Ms. Grady on a search through the state’s Board of Dental Examiners portal.

The publication did not immediately hear back from Ms. Grady or the practice.
