The center serves as an interdepartmental and interdisciplinary think tank, the release said. It recognizes the need for a holistic approach to current oral health policies and management in the U.S. That includes education about the complexity of healthcare systems through new programming on policy and leadership.

Visiting scholar Richard Valachovic, DMD, and executive vice dean at NYU Dentistry Michael O’Connor, EdD, will lead the center, the release said.
