Shreveport, La.-based Ochsner LSU Health has opened its relocated Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Institute in Shreveport.
The expanded clinic provides oral services including dental extractions, wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, facial cosmetic surgery, corrective jaw surgery and treatment of TMJ conditions, according to a Dec. 15 news release from Ochsner LSU Health.
In addition, specialists at the institute manage facial trauma, congenital malformations and malignant and benign pathology of the head and neck.
The newly designed institute is upgraded with advanced technology, the release said.
