Office manager accused of stealing $109K from New Jersey orthodontics office

The office manager of Giegerich Orthodontics in Galloway, N.J., was recently arrested and charged with stealing $109,000 from the practice.

According to a news release from the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, an investigation was launched after an office assistant from the practice noticed discrepancies in a patient’s billing file. The investigation found that Suzanne Conover, 49, allegedly took cash payments from patients and deposited them into her personal bank account over the course of six years. 

Ms. Conover was charged by an Atlantic County Grand Jury Nov. 8 with one count of second degree theft by failure to make required disposition.
